Benfica manager Jorge Jesus is facing backlash after claiming racism allegations have become "very fashionable" following an incident in PSG and Istanbul Basaksehir's fixture.
The Champions League match was suspended on Tuesday night after the fourth official, Sebastian Coltescu, allegedly used a racist term towards Basaksehir assistant manager Pierre Webo.
Players from both teams walked off the field after a heated exchange with match officials and just 15 minutes played. The fixture will be resumed on Wednesday evening with the scoreline still goalless.
