Players from PSG and Istanbul Basaksehir both wore t-shirts that read “NO TO RACISM” before their clash resumed. The Champions League Group H match was halted after just 14 minutes on Tuesday night due to an alleged racist incident.
It is thought that a slur was directed at Basaksehir assistant manager Pierre Webo from the Romanian fourth official. The action resumed on Wednesday along with the early kick offs.
And the players showed their solidarity with several gestures to show that they are against racism. During the warm-ups t-shirts were worn with the tagline “NO TO RACISM” and the badges of both clubs.
