Manchester United won't be able to get a late reprieve in the Champions League regardless of the Paris Saint-Germain vs Istanbul Basaksehir result.
The clash in Paris will restart at 5.55pm GMT on Wednesday evening in the 14th minute of the match and at 0-0, having been halted on Tuesday due to allegations that the fourth official used a racist term towards Basaksehir assistant coach Pierre Webo.
With former Newcastle and Chelsea forward Demba Ba leading the protestations against the official, both PSG and Basaksehir players joined forces to walk off the pitch in protest.
The match will restart with a completely different team of officials, but after United lost 3-2 at RB Leipzig it will have little bearing on the group.
