BBC One confirms return of two huge game shows after three-year hiatus

BBC One confirmed the return of two of the UK’s favourite gameshows.Following a three-year hiatus, BAFTA award-winning presenter Michael McIntyre will be returning as the host for The Big Show and his popular gameshow The Wheel.The father-of-two is expected to film six episodes of The Big Show, which will be on screens later this year, and features popular segments including Send to All, Celebrity Midnight Gameshow and the Unexpected Star of the Show.Speaking of his return, Michael, 46, said: “Three long years of no Unexpected Stars, of me not getting my hands on a single celebrity’s mobile phone, of people sleeping soundly without fear of me sneaking into their bedrooms.“Well the wait is over, the Big Show is back and we’ve used those three years to think of even bigger surprises and bigger laughs!

I’m elated that both shows are so beloved and returning to BBC One.”Also teasing the return of The Wheel, the comedian added: “And, as well as making stars of the unsuspecting public on the Big Show, I will be making another series of the show that literally revolves around me!
