Barcelona will play their home games at the 'Spotify Camp Nou' from next season.The La Liga giants have announced they have reached a long-term agreement with the popular streaming platform to become the club's primary sponsor.
The deal will see Spotify appear on the front of both the men and women's team shirts in addition to an unprecedented rebranding of the club's iconic stadium.The esteemed arena will undergo a renaming for the first time in its history and become the 'Spotify Camp Nou'.
Barcelona had already confirmed plans for a £1.25billion revamp of the stadium, expected to be completed by 2025.Spotify will replace Japanese electronics titan Rakuten as the club's main kit sponsor from the beginning of the next campaign and for the next four seasons.
The Swedish streaming service will also sponsor the club's training shirts until the 2024-25 campaign.The mega-money deal is considered a significant boost for the cash-strapped Catalan club who were this week set a summer spending limit of -£121m (-€144 m) by La Liga.
