GOOD Morning Britain host Rob Rinder was moved to tears today as Ashley Cain with the emotional reason he's not cutting his beard.

Former footballer Ashley's baby daughter Azaylia died from leukaemia last year aged just eight months. The proud dad, 31, has spent the time since Azaylia's passing raising money and awareness around childhood cancer by taking on gruelling challenges.

Speaking eloquently and passionately about his motivation, Ashley said he'd be selfish if he didn't use his time and good health to promote Azaylia's legacy.

He was then prompted to reveal the reason behind his long facial hair by Rob and co-host Kate Garraway. He explained: "Yeah so everyone asks me about the beard.
