Arsenal.Wenger has been keeping himself busy as FIFA’s chief of global football development in recent years.The 71-year-old has made headlines recently by suggesting radical changes to football including kick-ins instead of throw-ins and altering the offside rule.Although his 22-year stint as Arsenal manager came to an end in 2018, Wenger still remains inextricably linked to his former club.Wenger has never officially announced his retirement from management, but it is nonetheless surprising to see the Frenchman linked with a new job.
Yet, according to Swiss newspaper Blick, Wenger is one of the people being considered as a replacement for Vladimir Petkovic with the Switzerland national team.
