Arsenal could be on course to land Dayot Upamecano from RB Leipzig with the defender keen to move on this summer. The transfer window may well be delayed given the 2019/20 season is currently suspended due to the coronavirus crisis.
But once it opens, Mikel Arteta should stand a real chance of landing one of his key targets. The Gunners have been tracking Upamecano for some time as they look to lure the centre-half to the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal bid for the 21-year-old Bundesliga star last year but failed in their attempt to snatch him from Leipzig. However, they stand a better chance ahead of the 2020/21 season as the German side are now under real pressure to sell.
