Roma will reportedly have to negotiate with Arsenal for Henrikh Mkhitaryan with the Gunners’ asking price potentially too high for the Serie A outfit.
Mkhitaryan has spent the season on loan in the Italian capital with his Arsenal contract set to expire next summer. The Armenian was not seen in Arsenal’s plans by Unai Emery though he was sacked in December and replaced with former Gunners midfielder Mikel Arteta.
But reports suggest that Arsenal’s asking price could scupper any deal for Mkhitaryan to move to Roma permanently. Despite the former Manchester United ace struggling at times this season, he has scored six goals and registered four assists with Roma keen to make the deal permanently.
