Arsenal slipped to their latest dismal Premier League defeat at Everton on Saturday as Carlo Ancelotti's side proved that they are going in a different direction to Mikel Arteta's.
The two managers were appointed at similar times this time last year, but while experienced boss Ancelotti has managed to get Everton's players buying in to what he wants to do, rookie manager Arteta is facing a full-blown crisis in north London.
The former Everton and Arsenal midfielder presided over an eighth defeat in just 14 Premier League games this season at Goodison Park on Saturday, where the hosts won 2-1 to move to second in the table.
