Arsenal signing Matt Turner has sent Gunners fans wild on social media after already proving his allegiance to the north London club. The New England Revolution goalkeeper, 27, will finalise his £5m switch to the Emirates at the start of July.
Featuring in just five matches this season, Turner watched from the sidelines as back-up shot-stopper Dorde Petrovic started in between the sticks for The Revs' 2-1 victory over Minnesota.Despite not being selected for a final appearance, the MLS Goalkeeper of the Year was keen to showcase his appreciation to supporters at the Gillette Stadium - however, there was one member of the home crowd who Turner snubbed with his signature.
Doing the rounds by scribbling on 'Matt Turner' printouts and goalkeeper shirts, Arsenal's new signing was caught off guard by a Revs supporter donning a Tottenham shirt.
It looked for a moment like the 27-year-old was going to sign his jersey unaware of the fan's north London preference but, upon seeing the Spurs shirt, Turner immediately shouted, "oh no" and walked off.HAVE YOUR SAY!
