Arsenal fans are fearful that history could repeat itself next season and they will struggle in April, having learned the Premier League fixtures for the upcoming campaign.Mikel Arteta ’s side threw away their chances of finishing in the top four last season in April, losing three fixtures that would have been seen as winnable on paper.
They were beaten by Crystal Palace, Brighton and Southampton, whilst North London rivals Tottenham continued their good form that month which proved to be the difference.
The Gunners have another tough and bust April in 2023, playing three of the ‘Big Six’ in the space of four weeks. They open the month with a home match against Leeds before away games at Liverpool and West Ham, then return to the Emirates Stadium for a match against Southampton.
Arteta’s side then has a frightening end to the month, playing Manchester City away before returning home to take on Chelsea three days later.Supporters are fearful that the dreaded month could be where the North London outfit struggle again.
