Arsenal chief Edu will allow midfielder Mohamed Elneny to leave the club for free in January, according to reports. The Egyptian, 29, has been a bit-part player at the Emirates this season, with only four appearances to his name since August.Two of those were in the Carabao Cup, underling just how far he has fallen down the pecking order.
He is also expected to link up with Egypt in January for the African Cup of Nations, giving Mikel Arteta even less reason to keep him as cover.
However, by the time the tournament comes around, Elneny may have already said his goodbyes to his Gunners team-mates, with interest in the star reportedly come from Turkey.
