Arsenal are reportedly backing manager Mikel Arteta to be a long-term success, despite the club's poor start to the season. The Gunners have had their worst start to a top flight season since their 1974-75 campaign and the recent 1-0 loss to Burnley marked the first time since 1959 that Arsenal have lost four league games in a row at home.The recent 1-1 draw with Southampton saw them avoid the unwanted record of losing five in a row for the first time in their history but Arteta remains under intense pressure, with Arsenal currently 15th in the table and just five points off the relegation zone.
According to a report from the Athletic, the club are firmly behind Arteta and believe he is the man to turn their season around.
