Police have arrested a motorist for a string of offences after he lost control of his vehicle which led to a road traffic collision in Bolton.
The suspect fled from the scene but was intercepted by Greater Manchester Traffic Police. Upon further investigation officers spotted the vehicle had been fraudulently registered but still managed to apprehend the driver.
Police say that the driver was given a breathalyser test, which gave a positive reading, and he was arrested for drink driving.
