Apple has revised its App Store guidelines to finally allow cloud streaming services, such as Google Stadia and Microsoft’s xCloud, to run on iOS devices.The rule change explicitly mentions that Microsoft and Google can now build “catalog”-style apps in order to collate and list all games available on their platforms.

However, the new rules also come with a caveat: all games available on cloud streaming services must also be available as individual apps.The individual games are not required to run natively on Apple hardware, but users must be able to find the titles on the App Store outside of Google Stadia, xCloud and other similar services.
