Anti-vaxxers are suspected of sending a fake bomb to a plant that bottles the coronavirus vaccine developed by Oxford University and AstraZeneca.
The hoax halted work on the vaccine for the better part of a day at the Wockhardt site in Wrexham in North Wales until an Army bomb squad made the package "safe to handle".
The UK's only Covid-19 vaccine bottling plant, which employs about 400 people, was evacuated following the discovery of a suspect package, and production had to be stopped for hours until the Army's investigation was complete.
A hunt has been launched for the person or people who sent the package, and it is reported that suspicion has fallen on anti-vaxxers trying to disrupt the rollout of the UK's vaccination campaign.
