The Greater Manchester Mayor said that more jabs should be given in areas where life expectancy is lower.Speaking to Sky News' Sophy Ridge On Sunday, he said there should be 'greater flexibility' within the vaccine roll out programme so that people can be called up earlier.
The mayor has previously said that once the top priority groups have been vaccinated, occupational priority ought to be considered. "It has got to be a judgment based on health", he told Sky News this morning."What I'm saying is that the life expectancy rate varies very widely across the UK - there are places where it is 10 years behind.
