Anthony Joshua's surprising stance on Mike Tyson boxing return

Anthony Joshua has admitted he would “love to see” Mike Tyson make a shock boxing comeback at the age of 53. Tyson, who bowed out from the sport after his defeat against Kevin McBride in 2005, recently revealed he is back in training ahead of a potential return.

The former undisputed heavyweight champion wants to come out of retirement and take part in four-round exhibition bouts for charity, which many believe is a risk he doesn’t need to take.

Yet Joshua doesn’t coincide with that view, instead declaring his support for ‘Iron’ Mike and his bid to climb back through the ropes. “If he's back in the ring then I would love to see it, I would definitely be one of the viewers that's for sure,” the unified heavyweight champion told British GQ. “
