Anthony Chisholm, a stage, television and film actor, has died, The Katz Company revealed on Friday. He was 77. His Broadway credits include Two Trains Running and Jitney, the latter of which won the Tony Award for best revival of a play in 2017.
He also appeared as Burr Redding in HBO crime series Oz for three seasons. Chisholm was born in 1943 in Cleveland, Ohio and served as a platoon leader in the U.S.
Army before beginning his entertainment career in a performance of The Boys from Syracuse and The Threepenny Opera. He made his film debut in Uptight, going on to appear regularly on screen.
