Screen and Broadway stage actor Anthony Chisholm has died this week at the age of 77. Anthony, who starred in Spike Lee's film Chi-Raq and trod the boards on Broadway for decades, died on Friday, with his management agency The Katz Company confirming the sad news last night.
His many Broadway successes included his roles in Two Trains Running and Jitney, along with his work as Elder Joseph Barlow in the playwright August Wilson's Pittsburgh Cycle play series Radio Golf, for which Anthony received a Tony nomination.
He also received critical acclaim for his portrayal of Burr Redding in the HBO crime series Oz over three series. As well as his stage and small screen work, Anthony also branched out into film and featured in the 2007 Adam
