From Google to Samsung, Android smartphones are some of the most popular handheld devices around the world. But if you use an Android smartphone, a new report may encourage you to reassess which apps you have installed.
Researchers from White Ops Satori Threat Intelligence and Research Team have warned about 19 apps that can bombard your smartphone with irritating ads.
In a blog about the findings, the researchers said: “White Ops dubbed this investigation CHARTREUSEBLUR: the majority of apps include the word “blur” in their package name, and many purport to be photo editors allowing a user to blur sections of the image.
