Andrew Lloyd Webber will be releasing a free recording of his hit musical CATS this weekend. It's all part of his new YouTube channel The Shows Must Go On, launched in partnership with Universal.
On it, some of the renowned composer's most well-known musicals are being shown for free for between 24 and 48 hours. Shows already released have included Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, The Phantom of the Opera, and Jesus Christ Superstar.
This weekend it will be the Jellicles' turn to take over the channel as CATS has its turn in the digital spotlight. The 1999 production that will be released at 7pm on Friday May 15 stars Elaine Paige and Sir John Mills.
