Manchester United star Andreas Pereira has revealed Cristiano Ronaldo was his footballing inspiration when growing up. The Brazilian international reckons former United legend and current Juventus superstar Ronaldo is 'the ideal footballer'.
Pereira admits he modelled his own game on Ronaldo in a bid to emulate the Ballon d'Or winner. He said: "I always looked up to Ronaldo, Cristiano Ronaldo because he was for me the ideal footballer. "He was at United, he had an unbelievable shot, his skills, he was fast, so the complete player.
I always try to do the same things on the pitch like him. "I practice my shot and my free-kicks because of him. I started to play football and when I understood a bit more I looked at his style of play." Pereira
