Ander Herrera controversially left Manchester United last summer to join Paris Saint-Germain. The Spanish midfielder was a key player after the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer but opted to depart having grown frustrated at club bosses leaving it late to put an offer on the table.
Having decided he was not willing to move to a Premier League rival, the popular Spaniard headed to France to join Paris Saint-Germain.
Herrera was happy to discuss the move and his thought process publicly and instantly declared his excitement at the project in the French capital under Thomas Tuchel.
He was also happy to be part of a club that is “hated” in France - and he has proved to be spot on. Their journey to the Champions League final against Bayern Munich
