The online Luna service will allow you to play games over the web using an Xbox-style controller but without the need for a console at all.Where the Xbox Series X and Playstation 5 will set you back £450 each this winter, Luna allows you to access games instantly through it’s web ‘channels’ using your old iPad, mobile phone or even your telly set.You’ll simply use a special app on a web browser to log in, pick your title from a Netflix-style menu and play the game over the net direct from Amazon’s servers.The platform has yet to confirm an official launch date but it will reportedly be available via the firm’s Fire TV plug-in sticks and cubes, PC, and Mac as well as iOS and Android.
