Aldi is launching a cheap beer sale after saving 25,000 gallons of pub stock from going to waste.The supermarket purchased the booze direct from breweries who aren’t able to supply bars and restaurants at the moment.And from tomorrow (January 28), Brits will be able to get their hands on lager from as little as 99p.There are 13 beers and ales on offer in the Specialbuys range – and the cheapest is Spitfire Gold, which you can get for just under a quid per 500ml.The same brew is being sold at other supermarkets for more money.At the time of writing, it’s 25p pricier at Asda and 75p more expensive when you buy from Morrisons.Aldi is selling 10 more beers at the price of £1.49.These include Shelby from Thornbridge, Snake Oil from West.
