The 71-year-old gardener thinks people should be judged based on their medical history rather than their age. He explained: ‘There are people in their fourties less fit than I am.
I think really it should be judged on your medical history rather than on your number.’ The Love Your Garden presenter had also criticised the government decision to close garden centres across the nation at the start of the lockdown.
