Democratic pollster Fernand Amandi called Florida the "MAGA Republican capital of the confederacy" during the latest episode of MSNBC’s "The Cross Connection with Tiffany Cross." The frequent MSNBC guest offered his incendiary claim as part of a panel discussion about a recent Anti-Defamation League report detailing how many of America’s domestic extremists, including those who trespassed on Capitol grounds on January 6, are from Florida. The segment clearly aimed at demonizing the Republican stronghold state governed by possible 2024 contender Ron DeSantis, a strategy that host Tiffany Cross has routinely employed on her show.

The Reid Out, Joy Reid added “Because there are so few Black women in these spaces, it’s incumbent for us to see every Black woman as a prospect to add to the team. It’s never about competition, it’s always about adding.”“Hearing Cari and Jemele talk about their experience really resonated with me. I was all choked up,” said The Cross Connection host, Tiffany Cross. “I just relish in the space and spirit of Black women and recognizing that when we’re together, we’re a power structure.” The event’s emcee, journalist Gia Peppers believes that people don’t leave jobs, they leave management and horrible teams. “Black women having camaraderie in the workplace is the difference between women knowing they can stay at a hard job and people feeling lonely enough that they have to quit. When we see each other, when we create space for each other, when we show up for each other, we can change the world.”

Actress Regina King recently commented on the potential possibility that she’ll be directing the new Superman movie. If you didn’t know, there have been rumours that the 50-year-old actress is on a shortlist of dream directors for the project from DC and Warner Bros.
