The Midlands club are likely to come back with a higher offer as Arsenal look for at least £20m with Newcastle and clubs in Germany also interested in the 22-year-old.
But Maitland-Niles, who started in Arsenal’s pre-season win over MK Dons on Tuesday, is not concerned about the situation and is concentrating on the Community Shield against Liverpool at Wembley on Saturday.
