confidence.The shift into clothing came in the form of a bright orange Ralph Lauren polo shirt. I wore it with a white denim skirt and a brown leather belt and I felt like a goddess.
It was a slippery slope from there, always testing how far I could push the orange boundaries without looking like a walking, talking tangerine.
And yes, I have gone too far at times. But in going there, I’ve learnt where to stop.Let’s start with the basics: not all oranges are created equal.
As with every bright colour, you have to find the shade that suits your skin tone, whether it’s a warm rust, pale apricot or a searing neon.
