AC Milan have fired Zvonimir Boban after the former chief football officer publicly criticised Ivan Gazidis for going behind his back to approach Ralf Rangnick.
Rangnick is currently the head of sport and development at Red Bull, working with their stable of clubs which includes RB Leipzig, RB Salzburg and New York Red Bulls.
Gazidis reportedly made an approach for Rangnick to become Milan’s new manager and sporting director and Boban was left furious, hitting out at the ex- Arsenal chief in an interview with Gazetta dello Sport .
