Abuse charity launch campaign to encourage young survivors to seek support during lockdown
dailyrecord.co.ukA new animated film highlighting children’s heartbreaking experiences of domestic abuse has been created by Scottish Women’s Aid (SWA).For children and young people within abusive households, the coronavirus lockdown has been isolating and unsafe.SWA have been working to ensure those experiencing domestic abuse, for whom home is not a safe place, are not overlooked in the responses to the crisis.Today the organisation have launched a new animated short film encouraging children and young people to reach out the NSPCC’s Childline for support and someone to talk to about what is going on.SWA’s specially formed young expert group - YELLO! - have created the story and worked along with Media Co-op to produce it.Those involved in the project all
