Twelve-year-old Abe has a background you can only find in a city as culturally vibrant as New York. “I’m half Palestinian-Muslim, and then half Israeli-Jewish and then American-Brooklyn,” he says in one breath. “And Gryffindor!” The title character of the sweet new movie “Abe,” played by a deep-feeling Noah Schnapp from “Stranger Things,” is also enamored with food.
