A third of potential travellers are worried about using busy public transport stations and airports over Christmas as the UK battles Covid-19, a survey reveals today.
The poll of 2,152 people commissioned by travel think tank Thrive found 36% were concerned about festive trips, including 17% who were "very worried".
Just 22% were not worried. UK governments agreed a temporary easing of coronavirus restrictions over Christmas to allow people to mix with more people.
It applies between December 23 and 27, though the window for people travelling between Britain and Northern Ireland is from December 22 to 28.
