Three-year-old Oliver fell ill last month while in the care of dad Steve McDonald, who had briefly left his son with teenage neighbour Summer Spellman.
Doctors put this down to a febrile convulsion, a fit which can occur when a young child has a fever. But when Oliver suffers another seizure this week on Corrie, he's rushed to hospital for tests where doctors fear his condition could be more serious.
Leanne and Steve try to stay strong for Oliver but they're left devastated when he's diagnosed with a life-limiting mitochondrial disorder.
