The actress, who played Fiona between 1993 and 1998, made a comeback as part of a secret love child storyline where she was revealed as the mother of hair stylist and Rovers Return barmaid Emma Brooker (Alexandra Mardell).
And it looks as though Angela is all but ready for a proper return for Fiona - there is still plenty of unfinished business for her now that Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) has been announced as Emma’s biological dad.
Fans of the ITV soap will recall that Fiona dated the cab firm boss but cheated on him with his dad Jim. Angela appeared on Good Morning Britain with Lorraine earlier
