Key strengths have been identified at a Blantyre Primary school following a visit from Education Scotland.An official visit was carried out at David Livingstone Memorial Primary School and Nursery Class by the government agency who gave the school a glowing report.The school’s head teacher Linda Callender said: “On behalf of staff at all levels and the entire school community, I am delighted with the findings of Education Scotland’s report.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

Kids work well together, support one another, and demonstrate the school values well and feel happy, safe and included in decisions about school life.It also highlighted the effective leadership of the headteacher, who promotes a strong sense of teamwork, with everyone involved in progressing the work of the school and nursery.
