A £1,000 reward is being offered for help in catching a man wanted by police for months in relation to weapons and drugs crimes.

Investigators in Derby want to speak to Azad Shafiq about alleged offences, including possession of a firearm and Class A substances with intent to supply.

Derbyshire Constabulary said in a statement it is likely multiple people with connections to the East Midlands city who know where the 28-year-old is but are yet to come forward.

Police last appealed for help in finding Shafiq in August last year but his whereabouts remain unknown to officers, reports DerbyshireLive.
