Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

A young woman has spoken out about her horrifying ordeal of being groomed and sexually abused by a gang of men at the age of 13.Talking about her experience, she said: "I've been in a black hole for so long and not able to get out – I felt like no one ever believed me when I was growing up." The brave woman, from Hull, has courageously decided to speak up for the first time about the abuse she endured as a teenager.

The scale of the abuse was that extensive, that she cannot put a number on how many abusers she encountered but believes it could have been as many as 100.

Hull Live reports that her account follows those made by other women as part of a Hull Live investigation into the operation of a grooming gang in and around Hull.
