Scots man who was paralysed in a horror car crash begged nurses at hospital to end his life as he experienced a "depressive state" following the accident.
Craig Sears, 20, from Doonfoot, South Ayrshire, was driving in June 2020 when he skidded on a wet road, crashed into a road verge and overturned.
He was trapped in the vehicle for about three hours as a specialist team had to be called out from Glasgow to help out. Craig, who used to work as an industrial cleaner, was airlifted to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where he stayed for nine months.
