Former X Factor star Janet Devlin has opened up about her struggles with alcohol, sharing that she got sober when she was just 20.
Taking to YouTube, the 25-year-old kicked a video off frankly, by saying she was an alcoholic. The singer said: "I knew I was an alcoholic when I was 20.
I went to my first meetings when I was 20 years old and I got sober when I was 20 years old." Acknowledging that that is a young age to realise those things, Janet said: "I was in the privileged position to learn I was an alcoholic young.
My rock bottoms happened earlier in my life than most people's." The ex-telly star said that having money as a teenager, from gigging and television, meant she could afford to buy the booze.
