A KFC addict who gorged on buckets of fried chicken, chocolate bars and litres of fizzy pop has shed 11st thanks to Slimming World.
Claire Lee, 39, piled on the pounds after doctors put her on steroids to treat sarcoidosis – the autoimmune condition from which she suffers.
But the meds left her “ravenously hungry” and she started eating large amounts of junk food in a bid to satisfy her appetite.
She would regularly chow down on 4,000 calories a day and at her heaviest ballooned to 24st. But when the psychology student discovered the keto diet, combined with her efforts at her slimming club, the weight fell off.
