pregnancy is supposed to be a joyous occasion. But for one woman, her plan went horribly wrong after her husband had an outburst in the supermarket. She told Reddit how she was expecting her third baby after a bout of intense nausea prompted her to take an at-home test.Instead of telling her husband straight away, she came up with a plan to surprise him – although it went horribly wrong. The mum found out the news at the start of the month and wanted to wait until his birthday on April 25.

So she threw the positive test in the bathroom bin, but lately remembered her husband takes out the rubbish. She realised her surprise baby reveal could be ruined and when two weeks past she was sure her husband hadn't seen it.That's until they took a food shopping trip together. The woman said: "We're grocery shopping and suddenly my husband starts crying and goes to the bathroom."I call him on the phone and he, still crying, asks if it's his baby.""I manage to get him out of the bathroom, we go outside, I tell him my plan and give him a hug and apologise."She said: "He's laughing and tells me to never do that again before he apologised for running to conclusions."Then we went to get frozen yoghurt.

Food for the soul."Reddit users were cracking up over the mix-up and said they could see why her husband thought that. One said: "Don't wait a full freaking month to inform your husband you're pregnant."Another added: "For real! 'Why hasn't she told me yet?!' Omg I would definitely have run to the same conclusion."Want all the biggest Lifestyle news straight to your inbox?
