Simon Phillip Cowell (born 7 October 1959) is an English television personality, businessman and record executive. He has judged on the British television talent competition series Pop Idol (2001–2003), The X Factor (2004–2010, 2014–present) and Britain's Got Talent (2007–present), and the American television talent competition series American Idol (2002–2010), The X Factor (2011–2013), and America's Got Talent (2016–present). Cowell is the principal, founder and chief executive of the British entertainment company Syco.

mirror.co.ukA family's Christmas tree has been stolen from their home by a thief who was captured on CCTV - leaving them heartbroken. Kavillen Oliveira's festive decorations were swiped from outside her front door by a passing woman.
CCTV of the theft showed a blonde woman walk up the path, pick up the three-foot tree, then casually take it back through the gate.
Kavillen said her four-year-old son was excited to put the tree outside their home in Watford, Hertfordshire, to brighten up their neighbourhood after having a tough year due to the pandemic.
