Aya, from Birmingham, holds up her phone to capture the tiny space she has lived in for six months with mum Emal and little brothers Awab, eight, and six-year-old Abdulrahman.
Big brother Ahmed, 14, has a separate single room next door. The family have pushed the beds together so they can use it not just to sleep but to eat, study, talk and play too, BirminghamLive reports.
The family, whose identity has been protected upon request by Aya's mum, fled from conflict-torn Sudan in search of a better life in Birmingham.
