in Rochdale. A fire broke out at the residential property on William Henry Street,just off Queensway in the Lowerplace area of the town, at around 4:20am this morning Fire crews raced to the scene and the blaze was exstinguished.
No one was injured.However police have revealed two adults and three young children were inside at the time and have said 'the consequences could have been dreadful' following the 'reckless attack.'There was also damage the front door of the property.Investigations into how the fire started are ongoing Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said in a statement tonight but they confirmed officers are now treating it as arson.
