A woman allegedly stabbed her mum repeatedly until she beheaded her, a court has heard. Jessica Camilleri, 27, is accused of murdering her mum Rita Camilleri, 57, by decapitating her.
Rita's head was reportedly found near her home and in front of a neighbour's house in Sydney, Australia. The rest of her body was found on the kitchen floor in parts - including the tip of her nose, eyeballs and tongue, a trial was told.
Ms Camilleri allegedly asked if her mum could be brought back to life if her head was reattached and her heart restarted. The NSW Supreme Court has heard the horrific details of the gory death on the opening day of Ms Camilleri's trial on Tuesday, reports News.com.au.
