Low-cost airline Wizz Air will resume flights from London to a host of European countries from tomorrow. The budget carrier announced this week that it will restart selected flights from London Luton airport from Friday, May 1.
It will become one of the first European airlines to restore services which have been grounded by the coronavirus crisis. The Hungarian airline will fly to selected airports in Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Lisbon in Portugal, Spain – including Tenerife – and Israel.
New social distancing measures will be introduced during boarding and aircraft will be disinfected overnight. Passengers will also be required to wear face masks and onboard magazines will be removed from the aircraft.
