Wizz Air is set to launch new flights from the UK to Sicily, with fares starting from £17.99 each way. The budget carrier will be offering a new route from London Luton to Catania, with flights set to take off from the 22nd October 2020.

Fares will start from £17.99 although it's worth noting this doesn't include additional fees such as cabin bag fees. The route can already be booked on the Wizz Air website.

At the time of writing the FCDO does not advise against travel to Sicily. There's plenty to see and do in Catania. The picturesque port city offers everything from historic landmarks with intricate architecture - the Catania Cathedral is a firm favourite with visitors - to waterfront eateries and bustling markets.
